7610 keypad problem - GSM-Forum

anybody encountered this? i have a 7610 i changed sram and uploaded the rpl the phone powered on but when i checked the keys it looked like it's working except the other number keys like when you press 1 the menu pops up and when you press 3 the number 2 shows and when you press 8 the number 5 shows and when you press 0 the number 2 shows any ideas? TIA

Dear,

Is the set water damaged If not try to change RIGHT side glass ic whuch placed KEYPAD connecter.

try changing keypad filter...if problem still the same...

I guess it'd be track fault..

Maybe you changing the sram caused the phone the fault.

try to reflow the keypad drivers...or else change it.

change keypad board , 1000% oki

try this it may help u read both of it ok..

Replace both keypad filter near the keyboard connector may be ur problem solved

i had a same problem in 6600 . weird keypad problem and i solved it by flashing a new version.
