8210 Heating

I have got an 8210 that heats up somewhere around the bottom left hand corner of the CCONT chip. This happens when you put the battery in , you do not have to switch the phone on . The result is the phone will not switch on and it will not communicate with M-bus or dejan .Has anybody got any ideas or if it is the CCONT chip can any one recommend somebody in England who can fix and solder in a new chip.

Heat it up maybe it's bad connection...If not working, you need to take it out and replace it or rework pins.

Regards

Hello
Sorry for lately reply , for first I recommand you do not try to power on the phone with real Battery, you have to use the power supply with curent meter , as your situation you must to measure your phone is short circuit or not after you reheating, then tell me the result, and tell me why you did the reheating ok?
