I would like to know if a 8210 built in february 2002 has the common screen
problem of a lot of 8210.

I would like to by a second hand 8210.
It was built in february 2002, v5.30 (01/25/02).
The firmware is recent but i dont know if the LCD may fail by time.
I'm afraid of buying a defect phone (screen).

I read that Nokia has fix that problem in january, is that true ?

the elasthomer(zebra conector) must changed.
nokia phones are very good in general(except 8810?!)

Speiteman.

MCU version 5.30,, it not same mean it build at Feb. 2002,
you can put a sim card and press *#war0anty# (*# 92702689#)
it can show you some information,,,,,BUT, it can be re-write if some body write full flash include eeprom !

LCD for 8210,,, most time ,that rubber connector of LCD made problem,, and it is because that rubber connector got damp .. !
