8310 flash OK, once turn off, can't turn-on again!

My firend have a 8310, it was working good.

After flashing with Cheap DCT4 flasher:

1) Flashing OK
2) Will turn on and work like normal
3) If Turn-off
4) Never turn-on again
5) Flashing OK
6) Will turn on and work like normal
7) If Turn-off
8) Never turn-on again
9) ...............
10) .............

I tried to flash it with Griffin. Same result!

Same case here:
8310,8910 dead

Oh ..... one more interesting thing. If I don't do any "master reset" (Restore Factory Default), the phone will turn-on like normal!

What seem to be the problem?

Please help !!

Yes, IMEI is OK. Everything is normal, except once turn-off, will not turn-on again!

flash it again with griffin, then when it starts erasing for a few seconds, disconnect fon from griffin. now its dead. flash it again, mcu = mcu, ppm = mcu,
flash it again normally using highest version you have w set to factory default & unlock.

long wait but its works for me.

try it & see what will happen.

@kcgckc2002

I tried exactly what you said, no luck! Same problem!

If I don't master reset (restore factory default), the phone will work like normal, but once it is master reset, it won't turn-on again!

@dannyogolo,

Thanks for the reply!

I did apply some hot-air to the flash IC and also c-cont, but nothing improved!

It seem more like a software problem rather than hardware. Because if you don't give it a master reset, it works just like normal!

No, I can use the phone with battery. As long as I don't do master reset, with Griffin or use Reset Factory Default function in the phone menu, the phone will work like normal!

When it is normal, yes, it can charge. If it is not working, no, it can't charge!

BB selftests = 100% pass when the phone is normal!

BB selftests will not work if the phone is refused to turn-on!
