Unhappy 8310 keypad dead (WILLY)


Please all I need big help I have one 8310 that I only needed to change volume switch, the copper pad underneath has gone but i still manage to put one on the BIG problem now is that the keypad dont work at all all was working fine before what I could have done wrong????????????????????????

don't worry it is from volume switch replace again with care problably have short-circuit to grd

i have remove it now because no contact with pcb the copper pad is gone how to fix this please?

you can extend copper contacts by copper hair from cable, to extend lenght and when u need to extend width just make a small circle with the copper and solder it...For mechanical support after you solder everything, you can put some sort of tough glue to hold everything on the board, carefull when you are near the switches.I personaly use two element glues (resin) and work fine.U may use fast glues..WATCH the switches, be more carefull as fast glues tend to leave white remainings near the assembly point..Hope my advice helps
