Member: 8527 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | 8310 network problem I have an 8310 with a network problem: The phone works great on 1800MHz, but on 900 the signal comes and goes away. Sometimes I can even talk on 900MHz and the battery discharges in only one day(I also tried with other batteries). What's wrong with the phone? Is it the PA? Is it the Antenna Switch? |

Member: 15001 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | i think is not from antenna switch. You said the battery discharges in 1 day, it cause from PA. Power transmitter on GSM 900 is bad. Change it. It will solved youre problem. U cannot use antenna switch from 62/82xx. Its different. |

Member: 8527 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 11 | The battery discharges in one day, but I measured the resistence between + and - on the battery connector and it is the same as on a good 8310. I think if the PA is damaged the resistence would have to be different. |

Member: 15001 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 0 | if PA damage with short circuit u can measure by resistance. But for tx power u cannot. U should use spectrum analyzer. Nothing differrent by resistance between good PA and bad PA if tx power low |

Member: 10960 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 5 | Maybe PA is bad, but if antenna switch is break this caused high SWR (standing wave reflection) betwen PA and ant.sw. and result high current from battery. After any time PA burnout... |
