8800 change LCD


Did anyone change just the lcd not the compound LCD-FLEX. If yes can someone explain me how to do it, as i cannot imagine how to put them (LCD Flex) togheter without soldering (as Nokia does) and even soldering is gonna be hard to do...BR

It's possible - allready do 2 pcs, but it's realy not easy - the main problem is to take a part flex cable and LCD without to damage it ( 1-st LCD go to trash, but ... sometime its happening ) , but glue can be maded easy to remove with some right temperature... Also - better is to use again conductive compound to fix it back, instead to try soldering - Conrad sell something like for 20 Euro ...

I messed up one lcd already....do u have the name of this product.? i tried to solder it but it didnt work. and my customer is waitin for his phone. can someone please tell us how to install the LCD back?
