6220 dead after changing uem - GSM-Forum

I've changed the uem on 6220, phone powered on but failed to wright rpl file (error was bad response from upp). So I decided to reflow the upp, that process failed and then I removed the uem and pulled off a few tracks. How can I replace tracks on a board and which upp to use on 6220. Thanks!!

1-> i CANT UNDERSTANd how its POSSIBLE to rip pad off board when uem was not glued,but mistakes happen, in FUTURE use MORE heat.be patient

2->as for RIPPED pads,u need to DETERMINE which PADS ur ripped off

3->once this is done CHECK WITH manual where it leads to

4->as for "HOW TO FIX" 2 options

1. if many pads removed "REPLACE CUSTOMER PHONE"
2. use small wire eg: from "handsfree kit" or any SMALL wire , BUILd eachs ripped pad to where they lead,this only left option

(as for UPP" if u can remove it carefully,im sure u can USE SAME ONE,since i doubt its not working,since it power phone on)
