After using flux to reheat pcb, must i clean the pcb??i cannot flash phone after that - GSM-Forum

everytime when i reheat the pcb with flux and then i tried to flash the phone it doesnt flash any more.

before i apply flux to the phone i can flash the phone twice or more but after flux i could not flash the phone anymore. it happen to all my phones that has flux on it.

the question is should i clean the board with a spirit after i flux the phone?

maybe your flux is not original... used original or some duplicate but good flux. try to use like this flux type:rma-223, lot no:365-02-1(u.s.a. made).

i have just check my flux and it is exactly the one u mention. by using original flux i do not need to clean the board isit?

to conect the rphone to the computer, you need to clean the area of conection.
not necesarily the entire PCB

i have done that and it still doesnt flash at all it always comes out error. i did not use very hot air to **** the pcb i use around 270 deg.

Hi,

The first u need check ur phone by power supply (for A).
Clean PCB and cable.
Flash again.

If you use paste flux, always clean board, many paste flux are corosive, better use liquid one

Why rehot PCB? nextime, just rehot a fixing IC or component (choiced component) with some of good flux and do not rehot all of PCB.

About can't flash after rehot with some flux, thats happen if you rehot all of PCB (full rehot), there is isolated pin connector flash port with some flux, clean it with 96% of alcohol with cotton bud.

try to rehot u'r ic flash. and then try to flash u'r phone again. may be u'r ic flash damaged.
