the back heater...any good?


just bought the back heater with temp control...is it any good for the phones?what temp to set it to?

hmmm....ic that no one using this back board heater?well...from what i read you have to heat it for about 4 hours before you wants to do anything...from 80 to 140 degree...i just wanted to know what good is it doing.

right...ok...as i discovered today...its very good to pre-heat the board and work on actual back board heater...the good thing is that when i took some components off all balls stayed on board...which was very nice, coz i didnt have any problems with changing components...and from what i read about resoldering bga components...it says up to 4 hours on this back board heater is very good for working on it...but i think 5 min is enough to be honest...board was hot as hell...ill try to do make a pix tomorrow
