use original filter and all will be ok
if problem in PM then there wotn be no 900 MHz band signals available

GOOD JOB!!!Working solution,just convert one 6102b to 6101,i have just short RX and TX filters(900Mhz) with 2 capasitors,because i dont have proper filters and phone working perfect now!Dont forget to:
1. erase flash
2. flash mcu,ppm,cnt
3. write good PM,look previous posts,there is attached good one
4. unlockkkkkkkkkkkk

My 6101b set does work with some networks but only in limited areas, could it be fully functional if I convert its band or chand filter? please advice, Regards,

Mr. Hakeem,

You can't use this phone with GSM900 sim card without proper modification, this thread is about that modification, I have instructed in my first post that how this phone can be converted, if you don't have any technical knowledge then don't mess with the sophistication of nokia's GSM equipments otherwise you will damage your device, hire any technical specialist's services and get your job done...
