Post battery killing phone???


i was given a nokia 3310 with unknown problem it wont turn on... i found out that the battery was the problem... but then i tried to charge the new battery in the phone... displays ok..... within 30 minutes.... i check it again and the battery was dead!... any comments guys!

There is a hardware short in the phone. probably the PA, no way to check unless you pull it out and see it the battery is still being drained.

Use external power supply with current indicator.<br />(I have digital).<br />Check, what current consumes your phone in different modes. (power on, network find, usual mode, power off, off mode)<br />Compare this results with such full working phone.<br />And you get information what modules in your phone is not work. <img src="smile.gif" border="0">

Battery can be bad (new too). All Li-Ion/Polimer batteries have internal scheme. And this scheme may not work correctly. Test your battery in such full working phone.
