Several months ago my friend lost his mobile which is Optus plan (Australia). SHe contacted Optus and received a new phone. The old phone was blocked. However, recently, she found the old phone! Is there anyway to unblock this phone?

Can we? I thought IMEI is unique for each phone?

yes ... the imei is unique ... but still WE CAN CHANGE IT !

Sorry if i'm being stupid. I'm very new to mobile things! The phone is Nokia 8310.

i dont think this type of thing is for you,you are new to this field and unblocking involves imei changing,which could be illegal in your country.It also cost alot of money and skill to do this on a 8310.So i suggest you forget about it..................
