Smile Blue Led's

Has anyone had any problems after having had blue led's fitted to 8210. Ive heard that it can cause alot of problems with the screen. Im thinking off having them changed and was just wondering.

Thanks for your help.

Talking blue leds

Hi Dogs

I've done plenty blue leds on 8210
if you use the bigger ones "like on 3310"
you might have problems like the screen not clipping onto the p.c.b properly and you can crack the L.C.D if you force it on. Or the L.E.Ds touching the metal can by the keypad.
other than that I've not had problems

Talking L.E.D.S

Hi qba

Use a low power iron like a 12w or a 15w basically anything will work just don't damage the pcb tracks
Use hot air if you have it that works better than a soldering iron

check out : http://www.blueled.co.uk

think the sites still there have fun
