butchered 6310i

hey there, this is the second 6310i i've received in a week!! with the same fault. the fault is that there's no display, i've tried a new display but nothing the guy said that he tried to repair it himself by soldering over the lcd contacts on the board but still nothing and dont know if he's messed the contacts up as i dont have a picture or the board or a servace manual, can anyone help there?. there seems to be a damaged ic on the board its an hitachi 08125b, 2f2 2f08742 if that means anything to anyone its in-between the battery contacts well i say its damaged it looks like its been melted or heated up as its surface is soft and you can make out the detail underneath also the rf cover that must have went over this component is missing. apart from the faults above it works fine calls etc, battery holding its charge and no water damage. any help is apprecieated as mobile arnt my field.

first check software but thats a litle possibylity, and if not than check voltage on display contacts on board, the best way is to work with another goodworking phone becide, and to compare voltage on display contacts....

if the voltage is not the same on boat phones..that means that you have bad CPU or board damage between CPU and contacts......
