Can COBBA IC be changed

I've checked the wintesla and found alot of my 8210's COBBA corrupted, can the COBBA IC be changed? When we change the COBBA IC will it affects the COBBA checksum?

I ve been change COBBA IC before ,But Can not calculated the check sum .I think you must has the tool to make the file.set if you used Dejan 1.02 box .Change CoBBA is my problem now so if you have any solution please contact me .<br /> You just say used Wintestla to tested the phone ? If you change the COBBA you get a bad checksum - and the phone locks all 4 locks... (sometimes you get Contact Service...)

Sorry, but i don´t know a way to restore those datas...

so the conclusion is the COBBA IC cannot be replaced? Reason is because there's a checksum in it? I changed the cobba IC and it turns up no network

If u want to change the cobba IC uve to read the Flash of the Phone u changes th Cobba From, and write it to the Target Phone.

I changed processor on Nokia 8850. After that phone hangs sometimes. Should I reflash it with Dejan 1.04 to get rid of this problem?

I am working on 8210 ,,and with changing cobba ,,all locks was closed ,,and dejan soft can not recalculate checksums and ID ,,,phone reset it self,,,when I return back cobba (old original)and flash phone with dejan 1.04 to recalculate checksum ,,phone also have good checksum ,,I look with VIPER new soft ,,but phone reset itself about 30 sec ,,and I return full backup(original) ,,,previousle readed before experiment ,,and now phone working well 100% ,,,I can experiment because phone have damaged ccont chip ,,and ccont can be replaced with another

<br />so when you reflash the whole back up 20000-40000 back to the phone with the changed new COBBA IC, will the phone still work?

HI,to all<br />This the solution.<br />If you want to change cobba ic you can do that.<br />You must change 1 pair of ic cobba ic and flash ic(of course use dead phone cobba and flash ic must in good condition).After change maybe have 4 lock close(not always have 4 lock).And you can unlock without problem.Test by me 100% working.<br /> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

yes,you right but I has done the same you ,but when all lock was closed I can not unlock without problem like you .When I change 1 pair of ic cobba ic and flash ic, normaly it work OK <br /> Please tell me how did you unlocked it ? <br /> B.R

HI,Billgate<br />I use normal flasher to unlock it.If cannot i use jic unloker it work.

Many 3310 phone have 4 lock and can't unlock with normal flasher(dejan v1.0)when you unlock still have 4 lock close.When use jic unlocker to unlock it will ok.<br />But sometimes success to unlock without any problem.Sometime no network i up/down grade version also cannot.Maybe eeprom security problem. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="mad.gif" border="0">

HI,Billgate<br />The second problem maybe is your cobba ic damage.You use hotair gun too hot or flow long time to cobba ic.It that right. <img src="tongue.gif" border="0"> <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0"> <img src="mad.gif" border="0">

Hi,

If you change the so called 'pair' just reset full factory with WinTesla. There is nothing special in JIC unlocker that you need to transfer phone indentity !

Normally after change phone will ask for security code - put 12345 and the phone will work.
