Can't revive Nokia E71-2 with JAF 1.98.62

Here is exactly what happened. I received a bunch of text messages at one time and was attempting to view them, but I guess too much were coming in that it froze up my phone. I couldn't turn it off with the red button so I resorted to taking the battery out to turn the phone off. Little did I know, after I put the battery back, my phone would only boot up to a grey-black screen for about 10 seconds just to turn off again. I even tried to leave the battery out overnight .. tried the 3-button hard reset, but these "solutions" did not fix my problem.
I googled everything and stumbled across the JAF guide to revive my phone. At first I had issues with the program because it could not locate "ini files" .. I did a little more research and downloaded a JAF version 1.98.64 and it came with a few INI files that I copied over and pasted into my:
C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products\RM-357
and
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Nokia\DataPackage\Products\RM-357
The files that are in these two folders are identical and are pitured below:

I was then able to begin the flashing process, but it simply would not finish. This is what I get:
JAF version 1.98.62
Detected PKEY: 90009699
Card life counter: 99.99%
P-key nokia module version 01.02
FBUS INTERFACE NOT CONNECTED!!!
