changed B200 to fix slow ringtones and after a few minutes phone dies - GSM-Forum

i got this problem mates.

i rechanged the crystal and again it powes ok for a few more minutes and then dead.

any hints on this one what i need to check out??

it is a 3310

don't know the exact current mate

something is ****n up and is shorting for sure.. what i don't know.

best to see how much phone is drawing...

have you got a panel jig, take phone apart, put it in panel jig, power it up, leave it few mins, and touch some MAIN components to see if there getting hot ie (PA, COBBA,HAGAR,CCONT)

i exclude the crystal is inverted else the ring tones will be very fast

please read well bad + inverted = my reason young boys sure know inverted 32 khz cuz fast reponse not only in ring tones
