So any body can help me to know, how to make sure the micro BGaA balls connectiuons under UEM Ic are OK.

Are you sure that if you change the UEM, it WILL fix the fault?

Have you tried flashing the phone?
What program you using...

Have you probed the phone at all....

Best bet to check if UEM is down, is to heat it up, with heat gun (hakko) and with a microscope, look under at the UEM, and you'll see it move slightly, (that indicates that the solder balls under the UEM, have made a connection and solder is flowing)
thanks

Hello Sir,

Thanx for ur reply.

I replaced the UEM using BGA Rework machine.
Before change IC i tried flashing using Pheonix.
It shown NAK Aknowledge fail.

As per the service manual i found it is because of UEM.
I replaced UEM, now it shows 'TXD Line high".
So can u please help me to know how to check continuuity for UEM by Multimeter.

Best Regards
Jem

Hi
I use these guidelines for phoenix program, flash fails:

TXD Line High - change UEM
TXD Line Low - change UPP
Ms ID Failure - change flash prom
MAD NAK Aknowledgement failure - change UPP

Beings you've changed the UEM already using the BGA rework machine, and to your visible eye, the UEM change was all ok.
Best bet is to go for the UPP....
