convert 3120b to 3100 - GSM-Forum

i tried to convert 3120b to 3100 to work at band 900/1800/1900

the phone network is ok put the mic and sound not work

i tried more of time to get it the pm of converter put the same problem

NEED HELP AND THX IN ADVANCE

i found the solution as i changed the upp and flashed the phone full flash

it work 90% as i have blue screen

any one can get me what that blue screen mean hard ware or software

1_make the same hard ware steps like converting 3100b

2_ flash the phone 3100 flash but lower than 5.54 (r19) like 4.10 as the version is suitable for converting

3_ not flash it higher version as if u flash it higher version no sound higher version like 5.54 or 5.91

4_upload pm value and all be ok

solution work perfect few 3100b and 3120b coverted to 3100 no problem

and put ver4.01 on set
but listening sound can't on
any suggestion

After Flashing with lower ver..4.01 Phone will de dead ... work only with 6.01
