[convert] Nokia 2220s-b to 900/1800Mhz european bands? how?

hi,
SW: swap phone firmware, include pm.
HW: open scheme, find Z7600. replace it with 900/1800 filter. find it from phone that using similar rf baseband.

I have tried first picture from @josebraga but signal is weak, now I am asking you if I need to remove the filter (black one) in order to get more signal?

I did this solution but network signal it's very weak, I mean, almost does not works, maybe do I to remove filter...don't know...any advice
