data cable for flashing 6610????

Hallo everybody . Sorry for my English but it isn’t very good.
I have a 6610 locked. I think that it is depending by the telephone, because inserting the SIM in another telephone it works fine. When I insert the PIN appear the sign “ Phone restricted “ and after “ Enter restriction code “.
I want to FLASH the telephone, but I don’t know which DATA CABLE I have to use.
In commerce there are two types of cable:
1) The first uses the connector under the battery into the telephone;
2) The second uses the external connector in the down side of the telephone (near the charger inlet).
Which is the right data cable to flash the telephone?
I need to know which is the right software, also (DCT4, Nokia tool, Wintesla, Griffin or others, ??).
