dead 6510 after flashing - GSM-Forum

i have a matrix flasher

when erasing flash i have timeout respond

now the phone is dead

where is the problem?

i reflow the uem, the flash

no solution ?

did you try flashing again before jumping to conclusions?.....uem ic is heat sensitive so you might have killed it........if this is the case you need to change to new one and rebuild imei......and if phone still not powering up then change flash ic.....and try flashing again. hopes this solves your problem.

before flashing the phone don't have ring and vibration

i will try to change the flash chip

it is better to try to re flash again not jump to the flash ic changing .

if not.

may b the flash ic not fit well in its position or you were not reflow the uem well .
please if you can remove the two ic.s you reflowed befor and check the balls under it and use flux to re ball the balls on board .
this with mid heat and low air its take time but safe to board ..
then re fit the two ic,s with no much flux ( i use no clean flux ) and sure its fit in its place

try to re flash after the board totaly in normal temprature ..

if not go to the hard way and change the two i.cs
