3310 - some keys dont work numbers 1,6,9,0

As above some of the keys dont work on the keypad,

there is no corrosion or any water damaged on the phone.

the phone has had leds fitted but i cant see any damage from them.

when you press key 1 sometimes it brings up number 4 on the display.

does anybody know what this is and how to fix it,

i only have knowledge of reflowing, ledding, i cant resolder components on the board,

thanks for your time.

Its a 70% MAD2 CPU problem or 10% chances Lines breaks to CPU.

Download service Manual from Landy page or compare Keys to other board.

Best Regards,
Wahab

@simbirley:

try to flash phone with good or fresh PPM+MCU file... if still the same try to check or replace R414, R415 and V415... or do some continuity test between keys grouping...

keys outer circle:

Clear/1/4/7/* = in group and goes to R415 and pin 5 of V415
0/6/9/# = in group and goes to R414 and pin 4 of V415

if after some checking/replacing of components and problem still the same try to reflow or apply a minimal heat underneath (heat up on PCB) the mad... just be careful in heating up the mad...

@simberley:

just use your multimeter to check for the resistance between keys in group... keys in group must have zero resistance reading...
