Disrupted 8210; Led change. - GSM-Forum

Hello,

I have a dead 8210. I belive i died while i changed the leds. I think the metal frame and one of the led touched each other while the battery was in.

Do anybody know what part of the Hardware to change, to get the phone working again.

puting up the leds first
verify the computer conection with phone 2nd

HI
Try to check N310 Pin 1 for VB supply 2.8V
if this is ok, try to flash phone before you change N310 !

If can not flash phone, then next time, DO NOT USE HOT AIR to change LED !

Thanks for the replys. Everything works allright now, my friend that I changed the Led's for, gave me a "allmost" dead battery. After i change the Led's in display I tryed with the battery to see if it worked and it was 100% ok but then when I was finish with the rest nothing worked "dead" and i paniced. Now I know I't was only the Battery that was compleatly empty. Lucky me. Thanks anyway
