Downgrade / Rollback Software Flash N73

Hi I neeed to know is there anyway to safely downgrading the software version without bricking the phone?

I need to flash my phone back to its original state, because flashing it did not solve my problem with the keypad (button 2 thinking its no 7, * thinking its the quick menu button)

I am now going to take it back to 3 for them to repair under a warrany job but as soon as they see there software has been removed, they will forward all the blame onto me!

PLEASE HELP!

I have an Idea on a way to do it, but I dont know if its possable.
is there anyway of tricking the phone into thinking its old software?
if there is, I could do that, then reset my product code back to the original with NSS then flash to the current software using NSU.
