nokia 6680 this pin of display connecter short with ground,set problem is no light on lcd and keypad,i change light ic,coil,also reball tahvo but all same

i has face this problem before but different phone..
my solution is,
i take out display connector then cut damage print,
put back conn...
at keypad connector,take it out ,cut print pin at connector,
make jumper...

can?

Dear hum the best sollution is to remove the lcd connector and cut the ground off so you can now fixed another connecton i hv done many like that in nokia 3230,7610 6630 6600 and they are all works
