May I ask what is a flash IC?
If there is a thread about it please just point me to it.

Flash IC is a multiy programable IC ( sometimes it contains section
or more wich is one time progaming sector, It contains phone IMEI
for ex.,like Nokia's DCT-4 sets).
The flash IC containes the firmware data of the phone, the operating system, and the user area mem.(wich contains users
pictures , meseges,tones,phon No's ect)
