Glued UEM's - We all have a troubles?


Hi,

We all know - to change IMEI on new DCT4 Nokia we need to change UEM first. What models has glued UEM? And ofcourse how to change it? I read old post, but still no CLEAR answer. Please, professionals - need you advice!

do not waste your time...you can NOT change glued UEM........there is some metods with overhinting...and some otheres metods....but there is no money for doing this......beliveeeee!!!!!!

Changing glueded UEM is hard job but you can do it.
you have to try on some dead boards and after that on working one.. even today I had repaired two nokia 63i with imei '???..' by
changing uem and programming it using imei rebuilder.
Next time I will try to make some photos and upload to show you how to do it.

I know what 8910, 6610, 7210, 6510, 8310 have not glued chips.
