help with 3330 water damage phone - GSM-Forum

i try to repair 3330 water damage fone this is what i've done :

a)try to reflash fone,but kb_led will light up during flashing,flash is success but still no power.

b)try to replace ui module,cleaned board and reflash again but still kb_led will light up,no power.

c)check bsi,btemp line resistor to ccont - o.k.

d)check VB voltage,13Mhz clock ,32.768khz sleep clock,purx line and wd_disable line - o.k.

and the parts that i suspected were: ccont,hagar,MAD2
my question is how to test them or how to isolate them to identify which of these parts is really the defective ?

Hi Edoy,

When you said, it phone can be flash , and success,, and only LED of backlight on, but no power,,,

can you try to off phone by press power key ? if it can off,, (LED can off light), it mean, your LCD display does not work!
also, you can use wintesla try to connect phone via Mubs , and read phone information,, if this is working, then it must LCD control problem !

others,, first replace flash rom and ram ==> might not help..... becasue at same time, you need to check line from CPU to flash rom and ram, and also, check at is it power supply for RAM and ROM !

also try to remove "charger IC".. member Pali,, he has some problem like your phone water damage, at final ,, he found, that under charge IC BGA ball so dirty !

ALL LINE FROM CPU TO FLASH ROM AND RAM YOU HAVE TO CHECK !
