Help With How to.....Rework Station - GSM-Forum

I have just bought a SMD Rework station and need to know the Air and the Heater temperature to relfow cobba etc

Any links to other sites please or can people just help me to say what temperatures please.

Air & heater are both setting 1 to 8, so what settings ?

FIRSTLY,MANY PEOPLE BUY THIS TYPE OF EQUIPMENT AND DO MORE HARM THAN GOOD.SO IF YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO USE THIS TOOL THEN "TRIAL AND ERROR" WILL BE YOUR TEACHER.TAKE OLD SCRAP PCB'S AND PLAY AROUND WITH THEM BY REMOVING AND REPLACING COMPONENTS.TO RE-FLOW uBGA COMPONENTS THE MAX TEMP IS 300DEG AND AIRFLOW ON MEDIUM LEVEL FOR NOT MORE THAN 30SEC.RE-FLOWING uBGA IS ONLY TEMPORARY SOLUTION,YOU MIGHT EVEN DAMAGE PHONE.IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO REPLACE.
