8390 only has 1900MHz band, with conversion it will work at 1800 MHz, what do you expect more?

8390>8310

is step 3 necessary? anyway, i've tried ur solution so far and i replaced the VCO with a VCO from a 5210 and i still don't have a signal. but, i think it's working because before conversion i tried manual network searching and the message reads "NO NETWORK ACCESS" and after conversion the message reads "NO NETWORK COVERAGE" which means that the converted phone has weak receiver. anyway, my question is what is the best VCO to replace the 8390's VCO. thanks for the solution. salaam.

Hi!

So, is there any sollution to convert a 8390 to a 8310 with both 1800 and 900Mhz, or just 1800Mhz.

And please can somebody put out a better quality picture and write down what to do exactly?

Thanks!

WBR. Atter
