How do i completely restore the phone to factory settings


Hi i'm very new to this mobile phone forum,sorry

i bourght a phone of eBay in very good condition however it was full of crap and goes really slow.... how do i go about restoring the phone and clearing everything back to the original state.

hey tell first if whats the model of your phone..
if its a nokia model then thats easy, if you had software
for colored phones then just restore full factory setings,
it can be done with sofwares like powerflasher,twister,
tornado etc...if its wd2 type just click format user area..

put sim used this factory setting code *#7370# it will ask your sec code enter 12345 then ok. phone reset

i did wat jarniel said and it worked but i still have got loads of crap on the menu page, (such as tom tom icons and other icons i do not want) these are undeletable. is there anyway of formating the memory card aswell

theres a format menu in ur phone,go to extras then find the icon name memory, select it and in the option menu find "format memory card" and select..then it's done...juz remember that when you format your memo. all the data in there will be lost...!

now hope's this ans. ur prob. man..
