How to test working ic or cpu with multimeter?


HOW CAn i test power ic or cpu with multimeter i need this technics

you can just check the shorting between the positive supply and the ground pin of the ics by placing the prods of the multimeter on its vss and the vdd pins.........nothing more than it can be examined by a multimeter.

u never able find out any cpu faulty with multimeter.need Oscilloscope so that u can check
oscillations .data and signals from the cpu

brother it is not possible to check ic by meter ; the only way is to check it on pcb

u can check the components voltage near the pcb after giving 3.7 volts to the pcb n thn compare it with a working pcb in this way u can get an idea abt the condition of the ic.

hard but worth doing.
