I have one strange problem with nokia 7650 - GSM-Forum

the problem is the phone is always in Headset profil i have flash it and i have clear it with alcohol but not work the same problem any one have a idea what can be the problem

Check the headset socket , there is an internal sw usually ON , when the headset jack pluged in that sw goes OFF and the system changed to headset mode.

Without the socket it will gives " Headset " titele cause the internal sw is not acting ON ( connecting the headset detect line to one of the speakers lines ), The HS detect line must be pulled allways to the Spkr line to put the phone in a normal state.
If the sw is dirty or rusted or the line is brocken or have a brocken component the phone automatically shifts to headset mode !!
