INSERT SIM or SIMCARD REJECTED on 8210 problem.... - GSM-Forum

I have 2 8210 ....
On one its shown INSERT SIM with simcard in it in other INSERT SIM or sometimes SIM REJECTED.....
One of them doesnt reject some cards of other provider and works ok but the second rejects all.........
Big help needed.......regards.....

Forgot to say:
Sim contacts in phone cleaned and even replaced........
Software 5.20,5.21,5.26,5.28,5.30,5.31 tried and 10 different eeproms and still the same.....

are you sure that's hardware probleme.never use hot air before trying all software possibilities.

sometime battry connector make this proplem try to change it ,
if your line of simcart connector is good
maybe!

Changed battery connector,sim card connector,all software possibilities (before i used hotair),ccont changing,resoldering all pcb but no success....

change the 5 pin trans. under the simcard holder

This is CCONT to SIM-connector , please check it one by one .
some time i chang CCONT, and forget check that R128 ,,,,,!

if line from CCONT to SIM-connector not help , then you have to check MCU -> CCONT
