Many people even waste time applying jumpers for sim card IC, keypad IC and display IC. All these drivers is easily and cheaply available in the market.

Why Nokia corporation spent money using this drivers ?

Because they use CPU/UEM with NO protections inside technology. This drivers protect CPU/UEM.

Conclusion :

Making jumpers is : risky ( possibility to damage PCB forever), take more time, CPU/UEM have NO protection anymore.

Changing drivers is : 100 % safe, elegant, cheaply and available, CPU/UEM have protection again.

Succes everybody...at changing drivers

Any other opinion ?

I agree. I will change the drive IC in many condition. I will jump in special condition (ex: the poin in the board lose, but safe with put diode )

I am agree with u,but i have a complain.
Jumper is easy and fast solution.U can change IC,but their is no grantee that,theur IC is works 100%.So u can lost lot of money.
If u use jumper,then u r safe from this.
I am agree to change IC,but after using jumper if jumper not work.

Not compair with other compatable what is good or BAD.
We do this job as a professional for earn money.
