My way to solve Insert sim problem
 

I have got a trick to solve insert sim problem in nokia phones.

Use your multimeter to check resistence on 6 points of sim tray.

1) Keep multimeter on continuity tester.
2) Hold its red(+ve) pin to ground of the Handset's PCB.
3) Hold black pin in hand and check readings on multimeter while touching each point of the sim tray.
These readings are the resistences.

If sim ic is ok, then U'll get resistences as this image.>>>

If we get readings OK, then we can be quite sure that sim ic is ok. Then go for other options like battery connector, bsi line, side components, etc.
