n 72 insert sim card - GSM-Forum

hi
sir i have nokia n72 with problem insert sim card,
i check and notice one leg of simtray is not show any continuty and then i replace sim ic, but after 2-3 minutes lcd shows simcard ragistration fail,
i clean the boarad with good accetone, and also clean flux near the sim ic,
but problem remain same,
then i remove sim ic and make jumper,
and handset deliverd to cutomer,
it work for one some time, after one day customer again come on my shop and syas sometimes its show sim card ragistration fail,,
now handset is on my shop and all points of simtray is work well,
but some time lcd shows sim card ragistration faild,
simtray jack is ok and not heated and not bent,
board is also clean , and set is not water damage,
please help me to solve this problem .

hi bro....i think this sim socket problem...check the sim lock(fix this board in other body).then check the battery if same problem.i hope you can solve this.

this problem is bad conect from simcard to simcard conector
1. change again ur simcard ic (don't make jumper --- this can permanent error).
2. replace ur sim conector.
3. i agree pupaji -- try change bateray
