n70 sometime screen blank - GSM-Forum

hi masters,
my NOKIA N70, the screen sometimes become blank for a few second, and back again.. and sometime i need to restart the phone, then only the screen can back to normal.. I flashed it with tornado with new version and it ok for about a month plus, and now it come back to the same problem again ... what should i do ? is it still flash problem or hardware ?? if hardware what should i need to change in order to solve this problem ?

helo dear i have nokia N70 restart on start no option gives me any code entre or format plz tell me about what's solution without any cable any box.

try change lcd driver upper of back up battery

Mate if you can call & receive call even if there is no Display, its a HW problem. LCD IC maybe the problem.

change cystal n4201 near backup battery

resold ur display connector and then check it with working with it for 2 or 3 hours if its still getting white during working then chnge ur display if still same then reheat ur both display ic or check with changing them one by one

Have the same problem on my N70, white screen that is, but I can make calls.
I also notice that if I put the phone under bright light the lcd will blink (3 sec on , 6 sec white screen).
I tried changing the LCD, but its the same problem.
So it looks that must be the LCD IC problem.

Where can i buy that two IC?
How to reheat them or replace them?

Remove both ics and jumper...

But my phone dont hang at startup, it works, just the display is white.
Is your solution the same for my problem?
