n70 strange problem (charging) - GSM-Forum

hello everybody!!I have n70 with strange problem after water damage.Phone doesn't charge but board looks great.Another thing is when i put battery to the phone i hear beep and phone shows logo nokia ,after few seconds it disapear and screen show battery without lines.If i turn on that phone with charged battery there is no battery status(it looks like empty battery without lines).If i connect phone to the jaf i hear beep and phone doesnt go to any mode (test,local)But i could flash it so i did with the newest version.I couldnt set factory settings.I wrote pm into phone.I cleaned the board.I cannot reheat board because i have no tool here.Thank you for your ideas!!

Your problem is in Tahvo IC which is for the charging circuit. That is why the handset goes into charge mode as soon as battery is inserted, some shorting is in it! I don't know how to solve that without at least reheating it.
