N70 strange problem, it start, then backlight off then restart


hello all,
i have a strange problem with a nokia n70 (rm-84)

it turns on normally, after some seconds that powered on, the backlight disappear, but you can still use the phone (without lcd backlight) and after 5 or 6 seconds, it restarts..

i rehotted the whole mainboard 2 times.. but the problem remains

i also tryed another LCD.. same problem....

how can i solve it??

Try flashing the phone if not succes then make smps bypas jumper

1.remove inner panel and power switch put only display and power on it with a tweezer and check whether it restarts or not...this may help you

same problem.. the phone dowsnt power on normally but it lose the backlight


ps i noticed one thing, if the phone is connected to the usb cable to pc.. it never turns off...if i unplug the camble it will have the same problem..

its my assuming as the back light and vcore volt controlled by the thavo ic please change it and check it...
