N73 flickering screen & background light issues

Hi everyone,

I've got a problem with my new N73 and i'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Firstly a few days ago the screen started to flicker while in use, it would only last 3/4 seconds and then stop. Its only done it a few times thought.

But now i have a different problem too, after the phone has been left unused for a while (over 30mins) and then i press a button the background light doesn't come on straight away.
This happens both if the phone has been locked or not.

It seems the longer the phone is left unused the longer it takes for the background light to come on, for example last night in the pub it took about 5 seconds for the light to come on after not being used for about an hour.
This morning though it took about 2 minutes to come after not being used during the night.

I dont think it's the battery as i charged it yesterday afternoon.

Just wondering if anyone else has had these issues, and if so how did you fix it.
