i think you are not good enough to solder or resolder if you can do that perfectly
first remove all the switches including camera
cleand the desolder areas and check for short circuit
if not ok check key pad board
if not solved change the 25 pin ic near key pad connector
ok finished

hi

dear i have the keypad problem with nokia 6680. it happened after the repairman replaced the data cable connector pins .... and now key "4" and Cancel/NO [red one] is not working... how u solved it ? i am badly in need of any help... plz help me....also the keypad ic was changed thrice but still not working... hope u help me...

i dunno how you can work on such tiny pieces..! my nokia fell into water, now it starts but none keys works. think replacing the keypad would help or not? i can order it
