try to flash,if doesn´t help try to see sim tracks.it could be ESD fault.but first thing and more easy to do soft....

bro,
1st, check by changing profile , if shows insert sim then you have to change sim ic
2nd, if does not change profile, you have to flash with latest flash file

I think sim Ic is the prob of the phone replace sim ic bro ur problem solved...........

i have solved same problem many n73 this way, frist format with jaf all drivers C,D,Z, & full factory set ,then check,if not done flash with new version it will be done 90%, otherwise HW problem check sim ways

hi bro,
n73 has no any filter sim ic.all sim processes done by power ic 'avilma'.
firstly flash phone with latest firmware by jaf,if same then you should resold/reball or change power ic.
try it and post reply.
