i have a N81 with keypad problem , 1 5 9 and * not working can you tell me which of the two keypad ic is faullty?

change the keypad ic in the pic attached

thanks ace but u forgot to add the pic . ok tell me which ic . the one near the flex connector or the one near the lower keypad connector.?

I have this for upper,,but i not sure this is can use lower,,,

yep that will work but the jumper is for upper keypad
for lower apply same jumper to z2401 that i have shown in my previous post

i applied the jumper all other keys worked but number 3 stopped working . i dont know what may be the problem

check for shorting or the continuity matrix in the key
