N95 8GB microphone wet very low volume now

Hi guys, I have a Nokia N95 8GB and the microphone got a little wet due to rain and now the volume is very very low. I can hear noises if I below into it but pretty much everything else is close to nothing.

I did try and record myself with the program on the phone and played it back really loud and barely heard myself. Is there a way to fix this?

Even when I tried with a bluetooth headset the sound level was pretty low when talking over the phone. The other side can still hear me but the volume is pretty low. Any help please.

I have been reading up on it and do you think that the Avila IC is messed up? I can still hear myself but just very softly. I took it fully apart and there is no water anywhere else. Just whenever I blew compressed air into microphone slot water came out. I will probably buy a new microphone and swap it out to see if that works.
