8310 no respond for charging - GSM-Forum

Did any body have or know solutions to repairer Nokia 8310 no respond for charging?????????? when I connect charger and I check with multitester the connector battery 0v.

check this, I found it many time broken

1- check the charging fuse.
2- check the charging diode beside the fuse.
3- rehot UEM with good flux
4- change UEM

I wish that everything is clear now

hey dont forget to make sure that the pins of the charging pot is clean & contacting well on the PCB

08-22-2004 I change the fuse, I put it from dead 8250 and charging work normal again thanks for all help my friend specially to my friend Mr.Vrem thanks a lot.

by the way you can remove the fuse and connect a wire instead of it and everything will be ok..this if you didn't find onther fuse.

the function of the fuse in the circuit is to protect the charging circuit from sudden rise in voltage which will damage the UEM and other component.
