jst change da mic its da same as nokia 6500s and 8600 mic u will find this mic by da usb conector,if still no joy change da complete kepad and let me know da result

i have change complete key pad but microphone is working very slow.
other solution do you have?

Twice now my Nokia 6700 classic microphone has stopped working - almost but not quite totally.
I took it to the shop first time to have the mic replaced. They did nothing more than update the software!
So, when it stopped being able to record or send sound again - I used a backup of the phone contents to restore it fully.

So, the method is - BEFORE it goes wrong, make a full backup to the memory chip using the phone's own internal software ( no computer needed)

When/if the mic stops working - do a factory reset of the phone - test the mic, it will probably work again !
Finally, restore the data from the memory chip. It all takes about 2 minutes !
