can anyone help me? i'm just new in this field. i wanted to know what are the newest equipment available in the market that i can use for cellphone repair ( software and hardware problems ). especially for those 3g capable cellphones. i only have an equipment for dct-3 cellphones.

you dont need the latest specially if you are new.. all you need is the basic tool first... then sooner the latest of course....... basic hardware tools hot air and soldering station..... in software... jaf or ufs....

what is jaf and ufs? are those software can be used in nokia n series phones and other models, other brands? I already have acquired a soldering station and hot air. are those softwares used in latest cellphone models now are as the same as those used in dct-3 models in terms of operation?

yes UFS and JAF are software boxes that you can use to flash dct3,dct4,wd2 and bb5 ..... yes same operation....... in ufs u need to install HWK to be able for you to flash bb5..
